About me
I have over a decade of experience working with children and families, including 11 years in
mainstream education and forest school settings. My passion is creating a calm, supportive,
and consistent space where children feel safe to learn, explore, and express themselves
through play, while also empowering parents with the confidence and tools to support their
child at home.

My Approach
My approach is child-led, trauma-informed, and inclusive, recognising that behaviour is a
form of communication and that children thrive when they feel emotionally secure and
understood. Sessions are carefully shaped around each child’s individual needs, interests,
and pace, with a strong focus on building confidence, resilience, and wellbeing alongside
learning. Parent coaching sessions offer space to reflect, problem-solve, and develop
practical strategies to support learning, emotional regulation, and relationships across
different environments.
How can I help?
Play, nature, and meaningful relationships sit at the heart of my work. Drawing on my forest
school experience, I use play and hands-on experiences to support regulation, curiosity, and
self-belief. I work closely with families in a holistic and nurturing way, valuing open
communication and recognising parents and carers as experts on their child. Whether
supporting school transitions, home life challenges, or home education projects, my aim is
to create joined-up support that feels manageable and affirming.
I am currently undertaking play therapy training, which continues to deepen my reflective
practice and strengthens my ability to support children’s emotional needs alongside their
learning helping them grow strong roots and develop the confidence to spread their wings.
